Phi Kappa Sigma - Alpha Theta Colony
About

ALPHA THETA
Alpha Theta is over 100 years old and one of the oldest Phi Kappa Sigma chapters. We are proud of our history at the University of Wisconsin. We  regained our charter April 19, 2008, and are beginning to record a new page in the history books of Phi Kap at UW.

FOUNDING FATHERS
Our Recruitment is on going as we continue to look for leaders and scholars among the students on campus. All those initiated into the Colony prior to our chartering as a chapter of Phi Kappa Sigma will have the honor of becoming Founding Fathers and creating a new kind of Fraternity at Wisconsin.

MEN OF HONOR
Chief among the mottos of Phi Kappa Sigma is "Men of Honor". Honor, as one of our 7 core values, is not just a word, but a principle we strive to always project individually and collectively. We joined Phi Kappa Sigma to be a part of something larger than ourselves, to better ourselves, our brothers, our fraternity, and our community.

OUR VISION STATEMENT
Phi Kappa Sigma is a unique and non-traditional fraternity. We strive to be a fraternity that has a postitive effect on campus and in the community. We value excellence in academics, community service, and conducting ourselves in a manner that is tempered with respect and honor. We believe in a fraternity experience that is accessible to anyone (Brotherhood is more than skin deep), and absolutely free of any hazing. We seek men who want to be active leaders. We seek men who recognize the fraternity stereotypes are not an accurate representation of their behavior. We seek down-to-earth, friendly guys. Above all, we seek Men of honor.
